We were delighted to meet Jane at our Mount Dora branch during a holiday event in December. Jane is a Climate First Bank customer and was recently named Lake County Conservationist of the Year at Trout Lake Nature Center. She was recognized by the Oklawaha Audubon Society, the Lake Beautyberry Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society, and Trout Lake Nature Center.  

Jane has coordinated various environmental forums presented by the NAACP Tri-City Branch's Environmental and Climate Justice Committee, which she chairs, and by the Social Justice and Environment Committee of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Lake County. She was a major force in the resurrection of the Lake County Conservation Council.   

It is no surprise Jane chose Climate First Bank when she was looking for a business checking account for the Lake County Conservation Council. In 2022, Jane brought together fifteen local conservation organizations to host a sellout Conservation Symposium held at Trout Lake Nature Center.  Jane is now chairing the steering committee for an EcoExpo to be held on March 4, 2023, at Lake-Sumter State College in Leesburg. This event is free and open to the public and will feature workshops, activities, and exhibits on conserving our natural resources and on confronting climate change.
