Climate First Bank's Attorney Banking department was launched by the Bank's Founder, Ken LaRoe, Esq., and Scott Leitner, Esq., SVP, General Counsel and Attorney Business Banking to suit the specific banking needs of Attorneys and their law firms. The team is proud to welcome their latest addition, Jason Silva, Esq., Attorney Banking Specialist.

Jason graduated from UC San Diego in 2018 with a degree in political science and government. In 2021, he received his Juris Doctor from Liberty University School of Law.

"I've wanted to be an attorney since about eighth grade. I wanted to make a difference," Jason said.

Jason was drawn to Climate First Bank by the Bank's vision to use finance as a force for good.

"There are companies that could be doing a lot of good in the world but are instead driven solely by profit " Jason said. "Climate First Bank made it clear that their mission goes beyond just numbers."

With experience as both an attorney and a banking specialist, Jason understands the specific needs and challenges legal professionals face.

"Providing that support for attorneys is something Climate First Bank excels at because we truly understand the business model of law firms." Jason said.  

Raising chickens with his wife and two young daughters, Jason stays sustainable off the clock.

"None of our food goes to waste anymore. The chickens are always willing to eat food scraps and in turn, their poop turns into fertilizer for the garden," Jason said. "We get about five to six eggs a day."

Jason isn't just a banker, attorney, and chicken specialist. He is also a multi-talented musician.

"I play the violin, the guitar, the ukulele, the piano, and the cajon, which is like a box drum."
